We know that this is a tough time for many of us, but we are getting hit especially hard in our rural communities in ESwatini. There is no hoarding and storing up groceries for a month at a time happening there.

With the closing of the schools and businesses, everyone is struggling to find ways to feed their families. Currently, we are still able to feed at our feeding sites at our churches as long as we serve no more than 10 at a time and everyone is washing their hands. We are the only source of food in the communities and do not have enough to feed everyone. We are limiting food to only the children at this time, but we want to open feeding up to all who need it.

People are coming to the churches for help right now and we don’t want to turn anyone away. You can imagine the desperation these families are feeling not able to have food for days on end. Not only is hunger setting in, but also fear of the future and how long this could last. PLEASE prayerfully consider helping with this critical need. Please keep these communities in your prayers. It truly does not take much and there is no gift too small. We’ve said it for years, for only $10, we can feed 5 children for an entire month. Can you give up $10.00 or maybe God wants you to do more? Please pray about how you can be used by God to meet the most basic of needs!

Pure and Genuine religion in the site of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you. James 1:27
