We always look forward to Summer because of the longer days, the permission to be lazy and sleep in, the outdoor activities, and more time together as a family. We have been incredibly busy this summer and busyness often distracts us from our calling and our time with our heavenly Father. The ministry in Swaziland has been heavy on our hearts lately. We always long to be in Swaziland. We wrestle with the fact that we aren’t able to financially do all that we want to do. We do believe that God wants to expand E127. Our desire to make a change and empower the people we work with is greater than the finances currently allow. Many of you have supported this ministry for years and we have no words to adequately describe our gratitude. If only we could take each of you with us on a trip to Swaziland for you to see firsthand all that you have sown into. As we have often mentioned, we do not live off of any of the support that is given. Every bit of support goes toward feeding orphans, training pastors, planting churches and caring for widows. We would like give you a quick update.
*The kitchen is complete and in full use! We are serving breakfast every morning to our preschool children and a hot meal after school for all of the school aged children. God is so good that He even prompted the local prime minister in Bulandzeni to donate the funds to have the kitchen painted.
*In November, we will be taking our first missions team to Swaziland. We currently have a team of 14 going, and we are extremely excited.
*On the November trip, we will be securing the land for the next church plant. We will be holding a tent crusade to help launch the church in Bulandzeni. We will have the graduation for the current preschool class of 25, which is our largest class to date. We will also be doing some light construction and painting.
Many of you have been supporting a child at the orphan home in Mpolenjeni. The kids are happy and are doing amazingly well in school. Please let us know if you would like to send a letter or have any correspondence with your sponsored child. We have 7 children who are currently in need of a sponsor. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like more information on sponsoring a child. These children are fully aware that without the safe godly home provided for them, they may not be alive today. Most of them come from abusive home situations and needed to be rescued. God has done a work in their lives and it is truly our honor to be a part of all that God is doing through each one of His children!
*$3750 for the flights for our family of four to travel to Swaziland in November.
*$1500 to build toilets on the property in Bulandzeni.
*$800 to install electricity at the Bulandzeni campus.
*7 children sponsored in the children’s home at $50 per month or $25 for partial sponsorship
Without your prayer and financial support, this ministry would not be building another church, feeding children daily, training pastors, caring for orphans, or operating a preschool. We love and pray for each of you and cannot begin to thank you enough for your sacrifice. God sees and knows and you will reap the blessings of all that you have sown!
In His Service,
Chad, Wendy, Brielle, & Caden
