Trusting God’s faithfulness!

Dear Friends & Family,
We pray you are enjoying your Summer!  Our Summer has been full and is going fast.  Our time in Africa went reallyjuly news3 july news4well.  The kids thoroughly enjoyed seeing their friends and of course, their puppy.  We took brand new winter coats to all the kids at the children’s home-thanks to donations from a Sunday School class here in Rockford.   We had the privilege of taking the three youngest boys on their first shopping trip for school shoes, play shoes, and a few other fun items.  We also took them to lunch and a treat.  It was such a fun time!  We were able to have productive meetings with pastors and ministry leaders that we are working alongside.  We can see the hand of God bringing different ministries together to build the kingdom.  We have prayed for this for a long time.
We are excited to see the church of Bulandzeni begin construction.  We were able to purchase bags of cement, sand July news8and supplies to begin the block making. The community is thrilled that the feeding site will continue feeding the more than 500 children on a daily basis.  We are grateful to our supporters that the potspots have been purchased for cooking and many of you have sponsored 5 children monthly! Things aren’t happening as quickly as we would like, but we see God’s hand in all that we are doing.  God is continuing to release people from bondage and oppression and He is miraculously bringing ministries together to work alongside one another for His kingdom!  For years, we have dreamed of bridging many ministries together for one common purpose.
We are praying about more support for the ongoing monthly costs of the ministry.  Currently, we are sending the funds to care for 25 orphans in the children’s home, helping feed over 500 children at the feeding site in Bulandzeni, covering the costs of 33 children at the preschool, paying the preschool teacher a small salary along with other ministry expenses that occur monthly.  Along with those ongoing monthly expenses, we are trying to get two churches completed as well as start a bean garden to help the church become more self-sufficient for the feeding site.  This is exhausting the majority of our support, which is why the building projects are moving much slower than we would like.  We are asking that you pray with us for new monthly supporters as well as continual support from so many of you who have partnered with us for the past few years.  We are praying for 20 partners at $25.00 per month.  We are incredibly grateful that you believe in us and all that God is doing through this ministry.  If we could take every single one of you to see for yourself, we KNOW that your heart would ache for the people of Swaziland.  july news2

We would first like to apologize for the issues with our donations page.  The website has been fixed so everything should be set for online donations.  You can check our donations page for a more detailed explanation of how online donations work.

We just wanted to send a quick thank you to so many of you who responded to the urgent need for food for the feeding site.  Thanks to you, our supporters and friends, the pots have been purchased and the children are continuing to be fed and taught at the preschool in Bulandzeni.  We are still in need of more sponsors for the feeding site, but the community is excited to see that the children will continue to be taken care of.  The church launched it’s first all night prayer service.  There were over 200 in attendance! The first truck load of cement bags has been dropped off so the blocks are being made.  Everyone is anxious to see the walls begin to go up.  The preschool children will soon be able to meet inside of the church structure, rather than under a tree!

Again, thank you so much for your partnership in all that the Lord is doing!
