Heading Back

We will be back in Swaziland in 10 days.  Please pray for traveling mercies and no complications with flights or layovers.  There is some unrest in South Africa (more than normal) and we will not be using a guard while in Swaziland so we are asking for extra prayers for our protection so that we can feel safe and sleep soundly.

We are believing the Lord to provide the rest of the funds to finish Pastor Margaret’s church and begin the construction on the women’s home, which will provide safe housing and restoration for at-risk and/or abused young women.  Please prayerfully consider being a part of these two amazing opportunities.  If everyone contributes a little, both structures can be completed!  We pray about every opportunity God places before us to make certain He wants us to be apart of helping that specific need.  We strongly believe that God wants us to complete both of these projects.  Our heart’s desire is for both structures to be completed while we are on the ground, in country.

If you would like to contribute toward the church or the women’s home, please open our donations page or send us a message at and we can help you.  No gift is too small and God can multiply every gift so that these projects can be completed and ministry can continue!

We have plans to meet with the chief in one local community for land for a future youth center as well as visit the orphan home and the other church sites and pastors.  While in country, we will also be setting up the plans and itinerary for the upcoming pastors conference this September.

Thank you for your prayers and support!  We appreciate you all!

“Too heavy to carry on our own”

2 Corinthians 12:9 My grace is all you need.

My power works best in weakness.

This is such a great reminder verse for us. For the past couple of months, we have had many moments where we have felt weak and helpless. There is such an overwhelming need and it’s not an easy task to get others to help you carry your burden. We have a burden which by definition is “too heavy to carry on our own”. We know that God sees and knows and has given us a heart for the people of Swaziland. We also know that He will see us through everything He places before us!

Nellys landWe are excited to announce that Nelly has been given land for the women’s home, Bridge of Hope. A small home will be built that will house at-risk, abused, abandoned and hurting young girl’s. These girls will receive safe housing, counseling and daily worship and teachings from the word of God. The workers are ready to clear the land. We need to raise $3500.00 for the entire project to be completed. Nelly is presently meeting weekly with ladies in her community for Bible studies and has already taken a young pregnant teenage girl into her mother’s small home. The community is in full support of Bridge of Hope and extremely anxious for this dream to become a reality. Please prayerfully consider partnering with us to begin to rescue even a few young girl’s in the midst of the hundreds who need safety and restoration.

We will be heading back to Swaziland as a family the end of May once the school year ends for the Summer. The kids are excited to see friends and teachers and be back in Africa for a bit. Our ministry partners and pastors in country are anxiously awaiting our arrival. We pray we can breathe life into all they are doing on the ground while we have been traveling and speaking here in the states on behalf of the ministry. We believe God is going to continue growing Covenant of Peace and the best is yet to come! We hope to finalize the land situation for the youth center as well as work on Pastor Margaret’s church. Caden is excited to continue his soccer ball ministry and Brielle can’t wait to get her arms around some babies! We miss the kids at the children’s home and they are anticipating our arrival. We will be taking winter coats, hats, and scarves to the kids as they are entering into the cold winter months. Thank you to all who donated coats, hats, scarves, bedding, blankets and clothing. It was and continues to be such a huge blessing. We wish you could witness the joy in the kids eyes as they receive your gifts! Please pray for traveling mercies and God’s favor on our family. Also continue to pray for more partners in this ministry and all financial needs to be met as we continue to expand and do more for the kingdom.

Thank you for loving us, praying for us and being partners with us in this ministry of setting people free!

In Him,

Chad, Wendy, Brielle, & Caden

We are still available to share on Sunday May 24th or at any midweek service during the month of May. Please let us know if you have a Sunday school class, small group or church service that would like to hear more about all that God is doing in Swaziland!
