There is pain in giving birth. We choose not to reflect on any of the pain that was suffered prior to the miracles that God brought forth. The enemy deserves no credit in his feeble attempts to derail God’s plans.
Launch weekend went amazingly well, but before we jump into all of that we would like to announce the birth of Joel Andaya Hlatshwayo who came into the world on May 7th around 12:30pm. He is beautiful and perfect in every way.
What a busy week, birth of baby boy and birth of the church. We saw God’s hand in so many incredible ways. Saturday of outreach day, we had over 600 people come to celebrate. The Global Leadership Academy shared in song, skits and games. We prepared and packaged one thousand hotdogs to feed everyone and it seemed as if no one wanted to go home. We didn’t know what to expect for Sunday morning’s service. We were able to put together stations outside for the children eleven years and younger, including three bounce castles. We still had standing room only inside the church. Pastor Mark anointed Pastor Mncedisi which brought tears to our eyes. The altar was full with close to 50 people who received Christ that morning. We have a good estimate of around 880 people who came for the dedication of the church on Sunday. We fed a large meal to every one after the service and dedication ended.
This past week, the first home group was birthed. One of the men in the community who was a part of the construction crew came to the Lord and was set free from drugs back in the Fall. He has spent almost every day since on the church grounds helping in any way he can lend a hand. He housed the very first home group. Nine men showed up and they all plan to be in church on Sunday morning. Praise God!
We see that God has so much in store for Pastor Mncedisi and Purity and know that there will be so many more amazing things to come for them and their community.
Our house has been rented for another year. Thank you so much for praying.
